Compassionate therapy for teens, adults, couples and
relationships.

A little about my approach…

Reaching out for support is a courageous act, asking us to acknowledge our sense of longing for change, to take up space with our own experiences and needs, and to confront and shift out of the sources of stuck-ness and suffering in our lives. I honor this courage by taking an active role in helping to bring clarity to confusion and identify areas for growth. Primary to my work with clients is creating a sense of connection, safety and non-judgment—I show up as my real self, with my own honesty and flaws, and try to be someone that you can trust with your own hard truths, hidden thoughts, and painful feelings. It is through this shared connection that we can start to put the puzzle pieces together, move through the grief, worry, fear and pain, and emerge with a spark of new energy for shaping life differently.

I love working with individuals, couples and relationship systems around a variety of concerns, including:

  • Depression, suicidal thinking and struggles with meaning

  • Anxiety and perfectionism

  • Relationship and communication challenges

  • Trauma recovery

  • Attachment issues

  • Body image

  • Family systems

I seek to work from an anti-oppression framework and to be affirming of intersectional identities and the impact of systemic oppression and intergenerational trauma. I respect and welcome all aspects of people including race, sex, class, ethnicity, sexuality, body size, gender expression, religion and disability.
